Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our Technical Department. This role is responsible for the operational maintenance of technical facilities, plants, and equipment through both Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Operations: Responsible for MCC and other electrical panels, motors, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Maintenance: Execute routine Preventive Maintenance and urgent Corrective Maintenance tasks to reduce equipment downtime.
• Installations: Carry out in-house renovation work, including conduits, cabling, fixing switches/accessories, and light fixture installation.
• Service Delivery: Deliver high-quality, prompt, and courteous facility management services to guests and co-workers.
• Sub-contractor Management: Supervise on-site contractors to ensure the highest quality of work and timely completion of requests.
• Asset Management: Use CMMS to receive and close out work orders upon completion.
• Reporting: Accurately report work completion or identified issues to the Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Procurement: Recommend the purchase of critical spare parts and consumables proactively.

Job Specifications

• Education: ITI certificate in Electrical.
• Experience: At least 8 years of working experience in the GCC, with a focus on large commercial buildings.
• Technical Expertise: * Must be able to understand and interpret electrical panel drawings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and troubleshooting for industrial and domestic appliances.
• Proficiency in PPM of switchboards and motors.
• Safety: Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Skills:
• Technology: Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
• Languages: English language proficiency is a must.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
