Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to supervise and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities at the project site. The Electrical Foreman will manage the electrical workforce, ensure adherence to safety standards, and assist engineers in executing electrical works according to project specifications and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage electricians, technicians, and helpers in the execution of electrical tasks.

  • Ensure all electrical works, including cable laying, termination, panel installation, and testing, are completed as per project drawings and specifications.

  • Monitor work progress and report daily updates to the Electrical Engineer / Site Engineer.

  • Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards and HSE regulations.

  • Conduct pre-job briefings, toolbox talks, and safety meetings for the electrical crew.

  • Verify material quality and ensure proper handling and storage of electrical components.

  • Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, instrumentation) to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Identify and report technical issues or deviations to the supervisor.

  • Maintain accurate work logs, inspection records, and installation checklists.

  • Mentor and guide junior electricians to enhance skill development and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman in construction, industrial, or oil & gas projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and testing procedures.

  • Familiarity with wiring, cabling, switchgear, panel installation, and earthing.

  • Good understanding of QA/QC standards and site safety regulations.

  • Leadership and team management experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
