Aircraft Mechanic
Job Description:
Role Purpose
Perform aircraft maintenance activities under the supervision of licensed engineers while ensuring compliance with approved maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks.
· Remove, install, inspect, repair, and replace aircraft components and systems.
· Perform servicing, lubrication, and routine maintenance activities.
· Conduct inspections and functional testing of aircraft systems and components.
· Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering orders, and technical publications.
· Support troubleshooting and defect rectification activities.
· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with maintenance data and company procedures.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition.
· Complete maintenance documentation accurately and promptly.
· Support operational requirements and aircraft turnaround activities.
Minimum Requirements
Essential
· Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Trade Qualification, or equivalent technical qualification.
· Minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance experience.
· Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and procedures.
· Ability to use maintenance tooling, test equipment, and technical manuals.
· Good command of English.
Preferred
· Experience with commercial airline or MRO operations.
· Apprenticeship or hands-on maintenance experience on Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft.
