Planning Technician
Educational Qualification: Technical diploma in relevant discipline
Experience:
- 8 years relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of established computerize planning and scheduling tools such as SAP, Microsoft project, maintenance management software.
- Good English language (oral, writing)
- Proven knowledge of maintenance planning and contract administration.
- Read and interpret manuals and drawings.
- Computer literature in appropriate software. Principal Accountabilities:
a) Principal Accountabilities:
- Utilize the SAP module to plan and schedule maintenance works and produce reports for engineers and management. Ensure that SAP history data are maintained.
- Assemble that work packages for maintenance task, ensure that materials, parts and manpower that available.
- Assist planning engineer to review and improve the quality of SAP master data by providing necessary reports.
- Assist planning engineer to review data, and trend after maintenance has been performed to determine if items require any spires, check current information against past history to determine if system or equipment have reached an economical point to replace versus repair. Assist planning engineer to verify maintenance data or newly acquired assets, and Review/Approve the uploaded project in SAP PM Module and Scheduling PM Orders for these new IDB & Follow up ASSI
- Utilize existing software to covert manually kept data to the computer of data collection, develop PM program for assigned area in a format that can be computerized maintenance PM program data on computer.
- Works with user of the SAP maintenance module and directs and reviews their data entry activities to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Conduct routine inspection to validate and correct the equipment tagging on PM data
