Job Summary:

The Rigger will be responsible for preparing, rigging, and assisting in lifting operations as per the projects requirements. The role involves ensuring that all lifting activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and client safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and inspect rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, and lifting devices.

• Assist in the positioning, aligning, and securing of loads for lifting.

• Communicate effectively with the crane operator and other team members using standard hand signals.

• Ensure all rigging and lifting activities comply with safety regulations and project procedures.

• Conduct pre-use inspections and report any defects or unsafe conditions immediately.

• Follow instructions from the Lifting Supervisor and maintain a safe working environment.

• Support other operations as required within the lifting and rigging scope.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.

• Must possess a valid Third-Party Inspection (TPI) certificate and QE PTS (QatarEnergy Permit to Work System) approval.

• Knowledge of different lifting gear and rigging techniques.

• Strong understanding of safety standards in lifting operations.
