Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the successful execution and administration of a U.S. Government contract in the Qatar. The Contract Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the Contractor and the U.S. Government, ensuring all contractual, operational, safety, and quality requirements are met. The successful candidate will lead contract personnel, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure full compliance with all contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison with the U.S. Government Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Manage the overall execution and performance of the contract in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership to all contract personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual terms, company policies, and applicable U.S. Government regulations.
  • Oversee staffing, personnel management, scheduling, and workforce performance.
  • Monitor contract deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare and submit required reports, documentation, and performance updates to the Government.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, security, environmental, and quality assurance standards.
  • Coordinate with Government representatives, subcontractors, and internal departments to resolve operational issues.
  • Identify operational risks and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support contract modifications, audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and mission support throughout contract execution.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Government, military, or federal contract management.
  • Experience managing personnel in overseas or contingency environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Government contracting processes and contract administration.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Experience

  • Experience managing U.S. Government or Department of Defense (DoD) contracts.
  • Background in logistics, warehouse operations, facility management, or operational support services.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a government or military environment.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and performance-based contracts.
  • Experience working in the Middle East or overseas government support operations is an advantage.
