Job Description:
Role Overview
The Rigger (Level III) will be responsible for performing safe rigging and lifting operations during equipment dismantling in oil & gas project sites. The role requires experience in using rigging gear, slings, shackles, and hoisting devices, as well as ensuring compliance with safety procedures and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Perform rigging and lifting activities to dismantle mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment as instructed.

Select and inspect rigging equipment such as slings, chains, hooks, and lifting devices.

Signal crane operators and coordinate lifting activities to ensure safety and efficiency.

Follow lifting plans and ensure compliance with client and project HSE standards.

Assist in loading/unloading, moving, and positioning heavy equipment and materials.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) or equivalent technical certification.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Rigger Level III.

Valid Rigger certification (Level III).

Previous oil & gas or industrial project experience preferred.
Skills
-
Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, lifting operations, and safety protocols.

Ability to read and understand lifting plans and load charts.

Good communication skills to coordinate with crane operators, foremen, and site supervisors.

Physically fit and able to work in challenging site conditions.
