Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Technical Office team for a long-term project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering and construction projects, with strong technical office capabilities in design review, shop drawings, material submittals, and engineering calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate mechanical design drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and review shop drawings in accordance with project requirements.
- Prepare and submit material submittals for consultant/client approval.
- Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors on technical matters.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and applicable codes.
- Provide technical support to site execution teams and resolve engineering issues.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain engineering documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Technical Office functions and engineering works.
- Strong experience in design review, shop drawings, material submittals, and engineering calculations.
- Experience in construction and MEP projects is preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
