Job Title: HSE Officer (Oil & Gas / Civil Construction)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at construction and oil & gas project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on site
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend control measures
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company safety standards
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports
• Maintain HSE documentation and records
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of work
• Enforce the use of PPE and safe work practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry
• Mandatory experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
• Experience in risk assessment and incident investigation
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and ensure strict safety compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably related to Safety or Engineering)
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification (mandatory/preferred as per requirement)
• IOSH certification is an advantage
• Experience in Qatar or GCC projects is preferred
