Civil Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
The Civil Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for estimating, cost control, quantity takeoff, and preparation of project-related measurements in accordance with civil engineering plans for an active construction project. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in quantity extraction (AutoCAD/PDF), and familiarity with industry-standard measurement methods.
Key Responsibilities

Perform quantity takeoffs from AutoCAD drawings or PDF plans.

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material quantity reports.

Review civil drawings and specifications for accurate measurements.

Support tendering, procurement, and contract administration activities.

Monitor project costs and report variances as needed.

Assist in preparing progress claims and payment certificates.

Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and project managers.

Ensure compliance with CESMM3 and project measurement standards.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

5-8 years of experience (preferably in infrastructure projects).

Strong proficiency in:
