Job Description – AC Technician

Position: AC Technician
Location: Doha, Qatar
Duration: 2 Months (Extendable)
Working Hours: 8 Hours per Day, 6 Days per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems and ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, including split units, package units, ducted systems, and central air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or replacement of faulty components.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently and complies with safety standards.
  • Repair or replace compressors, motors, thermostats, fans, filters, and other AC components.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service reports.
  • Ensure proper handling of refrigerants and comply with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Relevant trade certification is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an AC Technician in building maintenance, facilities management, or construction projects.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing various HVAC systems.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to air conditioning equipment.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.

Preferred Requirements

  • Gulf experience is an added advantage.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
  • Valid Qatar ID with transferable visa is an advantage.

Contract Duration: 2 Months (Extendable based on project requirements and performance).
