General Technician

Key Responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- Maintain and repair pumps and plumbing systems.
- Carry out modifications or new installations as directed.
- Perform comprehensive service and repairs on HVAC systems, including FCUs, VAVs, VRF systems, precision AC units, and AHUs.
- Inspect and repair ducting, piping, insulation, and cladding.
- Service and inspect various valves, including motorized valves.
- Identify and replace faulty bearings, wear kits, and impellers.
- Diagnose issues in Chilled water systems, DX units, and Split AC units.
- Perform refrigerant leak repairs, compressor replacements, and copper piping brazing/welding.
Service Delivery & Management
- Deliver high-quality, prompt, and courteous facility management services to guests and co-workers.
- Report work completion and identified issues accurately and timely to the Supervisor.
- Supervise on-site contractors to ensure work is performed to the highest quality levels.
- Utilize CMMS to receive and close out work orders.
Job Specifications
- Education: ITI certificate in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering.
- Industry Experience: At least 8 years of experience in the GCC, specifically working on large commercial buildings.
- Technical Skills: * Ability to understand technical drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, and BMS systems and standards.
- Strong working knowledge of plant room equipment, including pumps and motors.
- Strong knowledge of job site safety and local building codes.
- Technology & Communication:
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and MS Office.
- Must be proficient in the English language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Increased productivity and reduced CM (Corrective Maintenance) tasks.
- Timely completion of work requests and reduced equipment downtime.
- 100% completion of tasks with high customer satisfaction.
