We are supporting our client in hiring an experienced Leasing Officer to join their team.
Job Purpose Summary:
The Leasing Officer is responsible for managing the day-to-day leasing process, from initial inquiry through to contract signing and tenant onboarding. The role ensures timely processing of applications, accurate tenant screening and effective follow-up on leasing activities to support conversion and occupancy targets. This position plays a key role in maintaining leasing efficiency, minimizing risk, and ensuring smooth and well-coordinated tenant experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Leasing Process Execution & Application Management:
- Manage the end-to-end processing of rental applications, from inquiry to contract signing.
- Guide prospective tenants through the leasing journey, including unit selection and application submission.
- Track application status and follow up on pending requirements to ensure timely conversion.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of applications leasing activities.
- Support achievement of occupancy targets through efficient leasing execution.
- Tenant Screening & Risk Assessment:
- Conduct background checks and financial verification of prospective tenants.
- Assess tenant eligibility based on company policies and risk criteria.
- Ensure compliance with leasing requirements and documentation standards.
- Identify potential risks, incomplete submissions or discrepancies and escalate when required.
- Maintain records of tenant screening and approvals.
- Lease Documentation & Offer Management:
- Prepare and issue lease offers, reservation forms, and initial invoices.
- Ensure accuracy of lease terms, pricing and financial details prior to issuance.
- Coordinate with the Contract Controller for contract preparation and finalization.
- Ensure timely collection of required documents and payments.
- Support timely execution and closure of lease agreements.
- Tenant Onboarding & Coordination:
- Coordinate the tenant handover process with Property Management supervisors, and FM teams.
- Ensure units are ready for occupancy prior to move-in.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and initial tenant orientation.
- Ensure all required documentation and approvals are completed before handover.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the onboarding process.
- System Updates & Tenant Support:
- Update the Property Management System (PMS) with accurate and real-time leasing data and unit status.
- Maintain up-to-date records of tenant information, leases status and unit availability.
- Respond to administrative inquiries from existing tenants regarding lease status and documentation.
- Ensure data accuracy for reporting and operational tracking.
- Support reporting, coordination and administration activities as required.
Any other task assigned by the direct superior.

Education:
Diploma in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent in similar field.
Certificates:
Preferred Certifications include:
- Real estate or leasing certification
- Customer service or sales training
Computer Literacy:
- Computer literate.
- Proficiency in:
- MS Office.
- Property Management Systems (PMS).
- CRM Tools.
Languages:
English fluent.
Arabic is preferred.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate operations.
- Experience in residential or mixed-use projects is preferred.
- Experience in tenant onboarding and leasing processes is an advantage.
