Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for a 6-month contractual assignment in Doha. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of various HVAC systems including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Split Units, and Ventilation Systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, fault-finding skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced site environment with rotational shifts.

3. Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning:

  • Install, assemble, and commission HVAC equipment including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Split Units, and Ventilation Systems.
  • Ensure proper placement, alignment, and connection of all system components as per manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Maintenance & Servicing:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out routine inspections, cleaning, filter replacements, and lubrication of equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they result in breakdowns.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults in HVAC equipment.
  • Perform timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous system operation.
  • Replace defective components, parts, and wiring as needed.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Adhere strictly to all HSE requirements, PPE standards, and site safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with client safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

  • Proven field experience as an HVAC Technician with hands-on exposure to Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Split Units, and Ventilation Systems.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma or ITI certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant trade certificate or vocational training in HVAC systems is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with refrigerants, compressors, motors, and electrical systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Good communication skills (English preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and extended hours.
