Position Details
Job Title: IT Recruitment Specialist
Location: Doha, Qatar
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable)

Job Purpose
The IT Recruitment Specialist is responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment services for Information Technology, Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, and other specialist technical positions. The role focuses on developing strong candidate pipelines, sourcing high-quality talent through proactive recruitment strategies, and supporting business growth through timely recruitment delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with hiring managers to understand technical hiring requirements, manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, and provide market intelligence to support workforce planning and contract mobilization.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding.
- Source, identify, and attract qualified candidates using direct sourcing, headhunting, networking, referrals, and professional recruitment platforms.
- Build and maintain active talent pipelines for current and future recruitment requirements.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, assessments, and qualification activities.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide timely candidate feedback.
- Negotiate employment offers and support candidate onboarding activities.
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Sourcing & Market Intelligence
- Develop sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill technical positions.
- Engage passive candidates across IT, Cyber Security, and Digital Transformation disciplines.
- Conduct talent mapping and competitor market research.
- Build and maintain talent communities aligned with business needs.
- Monitor recruitment market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment priorities and technical requirements.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and hiring challenges.
- Offer recruitment advice and market intelligence to support hiring decisions.
- Support workforce planning and project mobilization activities.
Recruitment Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Zoho Recruit.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and recruitment governance.
- Prepare recruitment reports covering vacancy status, sourcing effectiveness, pipeline health, and recruitment KPIs.
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR, or related field is an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience specializing in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, or related technical disciplines.
- Proven experience sourcing and placing specialist IT professionals.
- Strong experience managing multiple concurrent recruitment assignments.
- Demonstrated success in direct sourcing, headhunting, talent mapping, and pipeline development.
- Experience recruiting within Qatar and/or the GCC region is preferred.
- Experience supporting government, defence, aerospace, engineering, or highly regulated industries is an advantage.
- Experience with security-cleared recruitment and pre-employment screening is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Information Technology job families and recruitment market trends.
