Fire and Safety Technician
Job Description:
Purpose: Maintain and operate fire/safety equipment; support emergency response and routine safety tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, test and maintain firefighting systems and PPE (SCBA, BA airline systems, extinguishers).
Perform gas detection/monitoring equipment checks; maintain logs.
Support hot work, confined space and WAH controls per PTW.
Assist in emergency drills and equipment staging.
Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:
NEBOSH certification.
Diploma or equivalent in maintaining fire/safety equipment.
Valid drivers license.
Minimum Experience:
35 years in Oil & Gas or petrochemical operations.
JobSpecific Skills (must/strongly preferred):
Training on gas detection/monitoring systems; SCBA & BA airline operations.
Equipment inspection & maintenance; defensive driving preferred.
