Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Hyperion Techno-Functional Consultant to manage, administer, and support Oracle Hyperion applications while providing functional expertise to finance and business users. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Oracle Hyperion environments, supporting budgeting and financial reporting processes, coordinating data integration with Oracle EBS, and ensuring high system availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Hyperion Administration & Support

  • Administer, maintain, and support Oracle Hyperion applications, including:
    • Oracle Hyperion Essbase
    • Oracle Hyperion Planning
    • Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
    • Oracle Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE)
  • Manage Production, Development, Testing, and Disaster Recovery environments.
  • Perform system installations, upgrades, patch management, migrations, and version control.
  • Monitor application performance, storage utilization, and system health to ensure optimal availability.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures, including periodic failover testing.

Functional & Business Support

  • Support budgeting, planning, forecasting, consolidation, and month-end financial closing activities.
  • Coordinate and manage financial data integration from Oracle EBS using FDMEE.
  • Troubleshoot application, data, and integration issues while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
  • Provide technical and functional support to end users across multiple business units in Qatar.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize financial reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
  • Support users with Smart View, Essbase Excel Add-in, and Reporting Studio.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial reporting data.

Security & Governance

  • Administer Hyperion Shared Services security, user provisioning, roles, and access management.
  • Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

Project & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and participate in Hyperion implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion technologies.
  • Strong experience in Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Planning, HFM, and FDMEE.
  • Experience with Hyperion environment administration, upgrades, patching, backup & recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong understanding of Hyperion Shared Services, security administration, and user access management.
  • Experience integrating Oracle Hyperion with Oracle EBS through FDMEE.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience managing Hyperion implementation, upgrade, or deployment projects.
