Job Title: QC Inspector – Civil

Employment Type: Contract 4 Months Extendable

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QC Inspector – Civil to inspect and monitor civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil inspection.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• QatarEnergy approval is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system requirements and implementation.
• Fully conversant with applicable building standards and specifications.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of recognized building codes, including the International Building Code (IBC).
• Experience in soil mechanics, foundations, rebar installation, masonry, building interiors, roofing systems, and asphalt works.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Inspect soil conditions, foundations, reinforcement, masonry, interior finishes, roofing systems, and asphalt works.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management requirements and project quality procedures.
• Identify and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and relevant documentation.
• Ensure that all civil works meet applicable building codes, standards, and project requirements.
